What We Did
How Tide took an NFL partnership from the small screen to behind the scenesThe jersey swap is a beloved NFL tradition. But when Covid-19 hit, it was banned as a precaution. Luckily, Tide saw a solution in its latest deep-cleaning innovation: Tide Hygienic Clean. We approached the NFL, got the ban reversed, and the first-ever Clean Jersey Swap was born.
Tide partnered with Equipment Managers across the league to collect jerseys, wash them in Tide Hygienic Clean, and then deliver them directly to their new owners. Over the course of the season, over 1,400 players participated.
