And last year we got Boban Marjonavic, the biggest hands in the NBA, to hold the most Goldfish ever. Many tried, but no one could match Boban’s record-setting handful. So this year, during the NBA All-Star game, we decided to give them a hand – the Goldfish x Boban Hand Dish.The integrated campaign was like a sneaker drop, but for a hand – an exact replica of Boban’s massive 10.75 inch hand, which is even bigger than you think.
Fans went wild across every social platform. Boban fueled the hype across social channels and sneaker drop culture took it from there with a Hypebeast unboxing, a shoutout on Complex, and sneakerhead reactions, all leading to the big drop on 3.01 – the same amount of Goldfish Boban’s hand holds. We maxed out the entries per second the site could handle, had nearly a billion impressions and captured the attention of the sports world and beyond.
